Julianne Moore
Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne is a Hollywood actress, author and bestseller novelist. Her talents have won her international recognition. Sagittarius. The actress was born on the coast of North Carolina December 3, 1960. She's the eldest child from Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper as well as Anne an undergraduate student in psychology. She's English as well as Scottish. Due to her father's job the Moore family moved a lot and she struggled to establish friendships, or to keep ones. Moore started acting in play after she relocated with her family to Germany. Her studies continued in Boston University, graduating in 1983 with an B.F.A. in Theater. Moore's professional career started with her debut in New York with Off-Broadway Theater after graduating. In 1985 she made her television debut in an episode of The Edge of Night. She played in the roles of Frannie and Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns, which was her breakthrough. It ran through 1988 when she was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made a debut on the screen in the form of Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions from Altman (1997) were among her films. The critically acclaimed performance of her in Short Cuts (1993) was rewarded with several nominations. Moore landed her first role as a lead in Safe (1995). The casting of Steven Spielberg's Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, one of the highest grossing films from 1997, marked a major turning point for her career. In 1999 she starred in the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and was awarded a SAG Award nomination in recognition of her work. The Hours was her co-starring part in 2002. it earned nine Academy Award nominations with Nicole Kidman. Moore was also in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop was her film from 2014. Moore has appeared on countless television and film shows. Her most recent prominent roles was In 2022, After You Finish Securing the World. She has made her mark as a star in Hollywood and also as a children's author. Her first novel was published Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and it became an N.Y.T. best-seller, leading to the adaptation into a novel and musical. Additionally, in 2013, Moore published My Mother is a Stranger. Moore is a successful actress and writer. Her personal life, thus, is in the realm of the public domain. She married John Robin in 1984 and the couple divorced in 1995. They have two children together with Bart Freundlich whom she later got married in 2003. Moore's work, friends and family are the most important aspects of her life.
