Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both a member and the captain of 2012's Fierce 5 and 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. At the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals for floor and team competitions as well as bronze for the balance beam. She became the first American to win many Olympic medals. In 2016, she along with the teammate Gabby Doug were the only Americans who were able to secure back-to-back team golds. Also, silver medals were awarded in both the all-around individual as well as floor workouts. Over the period of three years between her Olympic Games she took a break. Furthermore, she was the gold-winning member of two American gymnastics teams. Her first experience with gymnastics began when she was two and she has a favorite activity the floor workout. Aly believes in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She is determined to pursue the opportunity to have a career that is successful in fashion. Leotards that she has designed as well as socks, and other clothing will be expanded in the future. She's writing a book called Fierce to be published at the end of this year.
